His Grand Father Rajagopal Bhagavathar is from Kizhanoor near Chennai and was a popular Harikatha kalakshepam expert. His Father was a Malayalam movie music director. He scored music for just 22 films but was a music arranger and composer for over 100 Malayalam films. His sister Rahana is also a good singer and today her son GV Prakash is a music director to reckon with. The memories of my father remain my inspiration.
