There is no need for introduction for this legend of music. His name itself will speak for him. He is none other than A.R.Rahman. His achievements bring great pride to our Indian nation.
He has stolen the hearts of millions of people throught the world with his mesmerizing music.

Here is the oscar winner's biography. Rahman is the son of R.K Sekhar and Kasturi. His Grand Father Rajagopal Bhagavathar is from Kizhanoor near Chennai and was a popular Harikatha kalakshepam expert. His Father was a Malayalam movie music director. He scored music for just 22 films but was a music arranger and composer for over 100 Malayalam films. His sister Rahana is also a good singer and today her son GV Prakash is a music director to reckon with.

His objective is to create an authentic Indian orchestra or symphony that not only sounds distinctly Indian but also blends various aspects of Indian culture and bhakti, which "is at the heart of orchestral symphony". He has created so many albums which are sold to a greater extent. Rahman has always been immensely spiritual. The faith in GOD and his attraction to music is visible in his creations. His patriotic Vande Mataram is still the popular soul song of India.
